As Trevor said after the game we have equaled our win total for last year. And yes it felt good to equal that and see the contributions from the team. Excellent pitching from David and Hayden both battled at times and made the outs that were needed David took one in the leg at a play at the plate but walked it off and came back to pitch and finish his inning. The play Jacob made for the third out stopping the chopper and the clean throw to first was sweet. We had a lot of defensive plays but catching the runner cheating off the bag from third and throwing him out was very well executed. Offensively it was a tight game until the third though we had stranded runners in the first two innings the bats came alive 6 runs in third crossed the plate score was now 8-3 in favor of Seco. The fourth inning brought 5 runs across the plate three batters were hit by pitch and nick had a shot that hit the fence. Score now Seco 13 Apollo 3 ten run rule in effect Seco wins. Excellent contributions from all the players showing good pitching good defense and patience at the plate. Some of the what was taught in practice recently was implemented in this game and the team executed those things perfectly showing the team is listening to coach's instructions.
